Coffee wood chews, for dogs with taste.
All-natural, splinter-free wood chews made from sustainably harvested Vietnamese coffee tree wood. Safe for dogs. Easy on your conscience. A little absurd, if we're being honest.
Most dog chews are, frankly, a bit of a mess.
Synthetic rubber. Plastic that will outlast the landfill it ends up in. Squeaky things that make sounds no creature should make at 6am.
We're not saying every dog toy is bad — but a lot of them involve materials you wouldn't want your dog chewing on, and they end up in landfill when they inevitably fall apart.
Which is why we sell sticks. Deliberately.
Why coffee wood?
Good question. We have a surprisingly reasonable answer.
Coffee trees get pruned regularly. That wood used to go to waste. We had a thought:
What if dogs chewed it instead?
Turns out coffee wood is dense enough not to splinter, naturally non-toxic, and biodegradable. So we're saving the planet, one chew toy at a time. Is it noble? Sure. Is it also just repurposing agricultural waste? Also yes.
Dogs can't write reviews, but their humans can.
Three sizes. One material. Zero pretence.
It's wood. In three sizes. Shop accordingly.

Questions we get
Is this just a stick?
Do Coffee Wood Chews splinter?
Nope - that’s the beauty of coffee wood. It’s dense, fibrous, and breaks down slowly into soft, fuzzy fibres instead of sharp splinters. So, no vet visits, no bleeding gums, and no “why is there a toothpick in my dog?” moments. Basically, it’s still wood - just smarter wood.
How long do Coffee Wood Chews last?
Weeks. Sometimes months. It depends on how intense your dog’s chewing career is. Coffee wood is seriously hard (like Monday mornings hard), so it outlasts most plastic toys and edible chews. Heavy chewers will eventually whittle it down, but it’s a slow and satisfying process - the kind that keeps dogs busy and couches safe.
Are Coffee Wood Chews safe for my dog?
Yes - radically yes. They’re 100% natural, caffeine-free, chemical-free, and preservative-free. Coffee wood doesn’t splinter, so it’s far safer than your average garden stick. As your dog chews, the wood softens and frays naturally into fine fibres that pass through the digestive system without drama. Supervise them, of course - these are chews, not snacks.
Will Coffee Wood Chews make a mess?
Not the kind that makes you question your life choices. As dogs chew, coffee wood releases tiny dry fibres - more like sawdust confetti than actual mess. No slime, no grease, no odour, no staining. A quick vacuum and you’re done. Compared to rawhide? It’s a clean-freak’s dream.
Are Coffee Wood Chews suitable for power chewers?
Absolutely. Coffee wood is tough enough to satisfy even the most determined jaws. Just size up accordingly - the bigger the dog, the bigger the chew. If your dog thinks destruction is a personality trait, this is the stick for them.
Are Coffee Wood Chews eco-friendly?
Yes. Every chew comes from branches of coffee trees that were pruned as part of normal farming. No trees cut down, no forests harmed. Is it noble? Sure. Is it also just repurposing agricultural waste? Also yes - and we’re proud of it.
Do Coffee Wood Chews contain caffeine?
No. The caffeine lives in the coffee bean, not the tree. These chews are naturally caffeine-free, so your dog won’t start a podcast or reorganise the furniture at 3 a.m.
Do Coffee Wood Chews help clean teeth?
They do - and beautifully. The fibrous texture of coffee wood acts like natural dental floss, gently scraping plaque and tartar from teeth as your dog chews. It’s basically a toothbrush your dog actually wants to use.
Can puppies have Coffee Wood Chews?
Yes, once their adult teeth have come in - usually around 4–6 months old. Start with the small size, supervise them, and let them feel smug about being eco-friendly so young.
What if my dog eats some of it?
Totally fine. Coffee wood breaks down into soft fibres that pass naturally through the digestive system. It’s not food, but it’s safe - like a snack your vet wouldn’t disapprove of.
